He got 20 goals last year and is joint 2nd in the charts this year with 7.

Probably one of the more prolific strikers in the TPL - so why doesn't he get a decent chance with the national team??

When coach Reid first arrived, he picked a team for the T&T Cup in Vietnam - he left out the TPL leading goalscorer, with lower division strike men getting the node, but with injuries to the squad, he was forced to add him to the team. He then went straight to the Bangkok Post and told them he was lazy.

He dropped him and left him out again for a while. Come the AFF Suzuki Cup, he re-instated the hitman - bemusingly dropping players who had done him well in recent games in the T&T Cup for example.

Again, he was a kind of stanby player, playing one one game, yet scoring two.

Come decisive matches when the nation needed a goalscorer, he was declined and kept on the bench.

The guy knows where the net is, yet fails to get a chance. Only coach Reid could tell us why, but boy, why not? He's 25, knows where the net is and is injury free. He has years ahead of him to fit into the Asian Cup 2011 plan.
